It is known that r2games is the main english wartune server hoster, but that doesn't make it the most adecuate. I am actually from S197. Been on S160, S107, S177. In each server, within 1 month, the server are slowly dieing and we need to wait for a merge, which causes a lot of issues. Still it doesn't grant a huge activity in the server.

Aeria Games has announced the launch of Wartune, a real-time strategy MMORPG.

Wartune comes fully armed with deep gameplay options and a high level of polish. Players always have plenty to do: take on missions in campaign mode, upgrade the buildings in their town, capture resource nodes, and attend to their personal farms for additional income. And when players want to take on the toughest challenges, they can assault gigantic world bosses alongside hundreds of their peers and test their mettle against other players in arena battles.

The fast-paced interactive combat is one of Wartune’s strongest weapons. Players charge into battle with their chosen character along with two contingents of troops, exchanging blows automatically with enemies. Meanwhile, players can generate rage through an array of combat abilities and spend it to activate their most powerful skills. Quick-time events requiring fast reflexes are also built into many of the strongest abilities to keep players on their toes!

To celebrate the launch of Wartune on Aeria Browser, Aeria Games is running several events to reward dedicated players both in-game and on Facebook, such as contests to award prizes to high-level alliances and top players for the first two weeks. Even more promotional events will also run through the game’s first month.

Aeria Games, formerly known as Aeria Games and Entertainment, is an online gamepublisher. The corporate headquarters is in Berlin, Germany.

Aeria Games was a subsidiary of ProSiebenSat.1 Media,[2] which operates an Internet gaming portal for massively multiplayer online games. It focuses on online games in multiple formats, client games, browser games, and mobile games. It publishes games for North America, South America and Europe.

History[edit]

Aeria Games was founded in Santa Clara, California as Aeria Games & Entertainment. Two years later they opened their first international office in Berlin, Germany, which later became the company's headquarter.[3] On January 5, the company acquired ijji, 2012.[4]

The company also merged with Gamepot in late 2012.[5]

Wartune

In February 2014, all its worldwide PC games business including its subsidiary Aeria Games Europe GmbH were sold to ProSiebenSat.1 Media.[6] In May 2016, Aeria Games merged with Gamigo and let go 100 of their formerly 260 employees in Berlin.[7]

Its games are free-to-play and use a micropayment system to generate revenue (in-game item malls and advertising).
